Summary

This position is responsible for process & data analytics in support of business continuity; analytics & metrics  for identifying, developing, and implementing supply chain strategies and cost savings initiatives. This includes leading development and implementation of supply chain optimization processes, tools, and models.

 

Specific Responsibilities

•Develop integrated project plans and schedules for the supply team's capital and development projects; implement short and long range logistics strategies.

•Develop and maintain project reports that will be communicated to stakeholders.

•Perform effectiveness evaluation of current control standards; communicate results and develop recommendations for continuous improvement. Support in analytics & process execution.

•Analyze and resolve root cause issues through creative problem-solving and solution design.

•Proactively search out tactical opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain functions, to deliver required objectives of cost-saving efficiencies and/or service improvement.

•Develop and support recommendations to close performance gaps, and present recommendations to senior management.  Implement approved recommendations.

•Develop recommendations for stakeholders to optimize processes and address operating challenges in order to achieve operating goals and objectives.

•Provide support in deployment management where applicable to SCM in process design/ redesign, execution and data integrity.

•Utilize technology to streamline workload, enable implementation of recommendations and improve data management.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, supply chain managemnt, analytics or related subject. 
  • 5-7 years experience in analytical role (SCM or Operations preferred)
  • Ability to model operational problems
  • Proficient in supply chain software: WMS (EXE), TMS (JDA), ERP (SAP)
  • Advanced skills in Excel and MS Project required.  AutoCAD and Access an asset.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is an asset
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
  • Some travel may be required (Ontario and Quebec)
