Compensation expert supporting the design and delivery of compensation programs that align with corporate strategic business requirements. The Senior Compensation Advisor will build great partnerships across HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll and Business Leaders. You may also be involved in other aspects of total rewards on a project basis.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and advise on competitive market trends to ensure both compensation design and pay-level opportunities will attract and retain qualified talent
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of tools, workshops and reference materials that increase capability for making informed Total Rewards decisions
  • Provide business-specific, ad-hoc and project-related analysis
  • Manage the annual compensation cycle for the assigned businesses
  • Prepare detailed compensation plan analytics to evaluate incentive plan performance relative to desired business objectives and use in plan payout forecasting
  • Conduct audits and identify process improvements in the management of the compensation programs
  • Provide advice and counsel on complex compensation recommendations for new hires or internal moves within businesses
  • Contribute to Total Rewards initiatives on an ad hoc basis


Job Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Approximately 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in compensation
  • Fluent in both English and French, written and verbal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent understanding and proficiency with system software (SAP and Success Factor)
  • University Degree
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately and exercise good judgment in working with various levels of an organization.
  • Able to work with diverse personalities and styles.
